Ability Focus joins The Valuable 500 Solutions Partner Directory
The Ability Focus team are delighted to announce that we have been selected as a Global Solutions Partner for The Valuable 500.
The Valuable 500 is a global partnership of 500 companies who are working together to end workplace disability exclusion. Launched in 2019 by Irish woman Caroline Casey, The Valuable 500 has the objective of setting a new global standard for workplace equity and disability inclusion. Leveraging the collective force of committed businesses, the Valuable 500 work together to provide peer support to executive business leaders to increase their confidence and competence in disability inclusion.
As well as this, the aim is to operationalize disability inclusion by providing tools for companies to advance their disability inclusion efforts and share best practices and benchmarks to assist companies in meeting their commitments and responsibilities to disability inclusion.
With over 1.3 billion people worldwide living with some form of disability, and over 700,000 in Ireland alone, it should be at the forefront of every company agenda to be a disability inclusive business.
Today The Valuable 500 collective includes some of the most well know and influential global brands including AIG, Vodafone, Fidelity, Bayer, Mastercard, Sky, Tesco, Kerry Group and many more.
The first phase of the movement was to secure 500 businesses to be part of the collective. Now that this has been completed, phase two is for those organisations to make the push and drive disability inclusion forward, both as individual entities and as a wide-ranging collective group.
With this in mind, a Global Solutions Directory has been formed. Currently there are only 89 organisations worldwide who have been selected to be part of the directory, and we are delighted to announce that Ability Focus has been added to this list. This directory has been compiled by an independent expert review panel, and places Ability Focus alongside many highly regarded organisations from the USA, UK, Australia and beyond.
