Access Officer Training
This training programme includes 9 sections delivered via 3 hours of live and fully interactive sessions. This programme is aimed at supporting Access Officers and other staff who have a detailed interest in public service access who require a wide ranging and comprehensive overview of disability awareness as it focuses on legislation, reasonable accommodation, accessibility and public service provision.
The purpose of Access Officer training is to educate Access Officers around core aspects of disability and service provision requirements, thus giving participants greater confidence when engaging customers and service users with disabilities.
On completion of this programme participants will have a greater understanding of their obligations under Section 26 (2) of The Disability Act 2005.
This programme is delivered directly to Access Officers and Access Teams at dates and times suited to your organisation. We also deliver this programme on an ‘open’ basis at set dates throughout the year.
