At Ability Focus we are disability inclusion specialists.
We offer a contemporary approach to disability awareness and disability equality, delivering Ireland's only award-winning Disability Awareness Training programmes which are CPD accredited and have received professional body endorsement from the L&DI. We also have sector leading knowledge of the reasonable accommodation process and act as consultants in this important area of disability inclusion.

Our training facilitators are fully qualified and accredited and have vast experience working in the disability sector. Stephen Kelly is Managing Director & Founder of Ability Focus
Stephen is the Managing Director of Ability Focus and an experienced Disability Inclusion Specialist, drawing on almost twenty years' experience in the recruitment, disability training and supported employment sectors.
Stephen acts as an advisor to Irish government departments, global brands and public and semi-state bodies on reasonable accommodation and disability inclusion. He delivers disability awareness training to organisations throughout Ireland, UK and Europe on a weekly basis. He also regularly delivers programmes on reasonable accommodation in the workplace and is on a number of steering groups where he assists with the strategy and guidance of projects.
Prior to establishing Ability Focus, Stephen initially worked as a Legal Recruitment Consultant for a number of years before switching careers in 2008 to work for EmployAbility Service. EmployAbility Service is Ireland's national supported employment provider for people with disabilities. Stephen worked for over ten years in the Kerry and Dublin North offices as both Disability Employment Facilitator and Company Coordinator. Before setting up Ability Focus, he worked with North Leinster Citizen's Information Service as part of the Regional Management Team.
Stephen has a BA. Degree in Law & Economics and an LL.B. Postgraduate Degree in Law from NUI Galway. He also has a Postgraduate Diploma in Public Relations & Event Management from The Fitzwilliam Institute and has a QQI Level 6 Qualification in Disability Awareness. He is both a CPD Accredited and QQI Certified Trainer and is a registered member of the Learning & Development Institute (L&DI). He is also the lead contact point for Valuable 500 businesses.

In 2023 Ability Focus were announced as a Global Solutions Partner for The Valuable 500.
The Valuable 500 is a worldwide business partnership of 500 of the largest companies across the globe who are working together to end workplace disability exclusion. This initiative is supported by The World Economic Forum, International Disability Alliance and The Nippon Foundation.
As part of the service offering to this global partnership, The Valuable 500 formed a Solutions Partner Directory with the aim of creating the world's first independently expert reviewed global directory of consultants specialising in disability inclusion and accessibility.
