Our Leadership Team
Stephen Kelly
Founder & Managing Director
Stephen Kelly is the Managing Director and Founder of Ability Focus.
Stephen acts as an advisor to Irish government departments, global brands and prominent public and state bodies, offering strategic guidance on reasonable accommodation and disability inclusion.
His training programmes are delivered to leading organisations across Ireland, the UK and Europe, equipping teams with the knowledge and skills to foster truly inclusive workplaces.
Stephen’s expertise extends to delivering advanced programmes on reasonable accommodation in the workplace and is on a number of steering groups where he assists with the strategy and guidance of projects.
Stephen holds a BA. in Law & Economics and an LL.B. Postgraduate Degree in Law from NUI Galway. Additionally, he has a Postgraduate Diploma in Public Relations & Event Management and qualifications in Disability Awareness. A CPD Accredited and QQI Certified Trainer, Stephen is also a registered member of the Learning & Development Institute (L&DI).

Katie McClure
Operations Manager
As Operations Manager at Ability Focus, Katie McClure plays a central role in coordinating all aspects of the company’s operations and client support.
Since joining the team in early 2025, Katie has become an invaluable part of the Ability Focus leadership team, ensuring that every client engagement runs seamlessly from initial enquiry through to post-training support.
With a strong background in office management, project coordination, HR administration and client relations, Katie brings exceptional organisational insight and a positive, solutions-focused approach to her work. She is passionate about delivering an efficient, friendly and responsive client experience that reflects the high standards of Ability Focus.
As the primary point of contact for clients, Katie provides expert guidance on the Work & Access Training Grant, assists with training coordination and scheduling and oversees client account management. Her professionalism and attention to detail ensure that each organisation receives the support needed to maximise the impact of their training.

Nadia Dorcey
Lead Disability Inclusion Trainer
As Lead Disability Inclusion Trainer at Ability Focus, Nadia Dorcey has overseen the training function since joining the team in 2022.
An accomplished facilitator with over 15 years’ experience, Nadia has led the delivery of high-impact disability inclusion programmes to thousands of participants across government departments, state agencies, higher education institutions, not-for-profits and multinational organisations.
Nadia’s delivery style is engaging, insightful, and rooted in practical experience. Her deep knowledge of disability inclusion is complemented by a strong interest in Universal Design principles, both in built environments and learning settings. She is particularly passionate about inclusive communication and identifying where simple, effective accommodations can remove avoidable barriers within the workplace.
A QQI Certified Trainer, Nadia also holds additional qualifications in multiple areas of disability inclusion and education. Her commitment to creating understanding, empathy and tangible change has made her one of Ireland’s most respected facilitators in the field of disability awareness and equality training.
