This industry leading training programme is aimed at managers, human resource professionals, talent acquisition and hiring managers who are involved in the recruitment of new colleagues.
Disability impacts up to 1.1 million people living in Ireland. That is more than 1 job seeker in 7 within the Republic of Ireland. At Ability Focus we believe that organisations who are inclusive of disability during the recruitment process are not only demonstrating a progressive organisational culture, but they are creating opportunity for both themselves as well as opportunity for this hugely diverse and talented group.
This comprehensive training programme lays the foundation for senior colleagues and those involved in talent acquisition/recruitment to ensure they are giving appropriate consideration to disability in all aspects of the recruitment process. We are proud to have delivered this training programme to many leading organisations in the public, semi-state and private sectors.
Programme duration is 2.5-hours in length and is fully interactive. There is a 15-minute comfort/screen break after 60 minutes. Private sector organisations will receive between 80% to 90% grant funding to complete this training. This rebate also applies to community based, not for profit and voluntary sector groups.
