Live Online Autism Awareness Training
This Autism Awareness training programme takes an in-depth look at autism with a view to creating greater levels of confidence when it comes to supporting autistic colleagues. We look at key learnings around autism, language and terminology, reasonable accommodation and barriers to inclusion with a key focus on supportive communication through meetings, social interactions and work tasks.
The programme is 1-hour in duration and is delivered via Live Online Webinar format only. We also deliver a longer 2-hour programme which builds upon learnings from the first hour of training. This 2-hour programme focuses on effective service provision, supporting autistic children, inclusive design tips and supportive interviews/meetings with autistic people.
Our Autism Awareness Training Programme is requested by increasing numbers of public and private sector organisations and we are proud to say feedback is that the clarity of delivery as well as easily digestible information makes for an enjoyable and educational experience. Private sector organisations will receive between 80% to 90% grant funding to complete the 2-hour training programme. This rebate also applies to community based, not for profit and voluntary sector groups.
